A kindergarten morning
What the day feels like
Children arrive, hang up their bags, and are greeted by name. The morning starts with phonics — sounds, letters, and the first words they can read on their own.
Then centers: small groups for math, hands-on work, and practice, with the teacher moving table to table. Recess gets the wiggles out before Bible, where the class hears a story from Scripture and talks about it together.
Specials — music, PE, library, and art — round out the week, and chapel brings the whole school together on Thursdays.
