How our team is organized
Who teaches your child at KCA
Preschool (PreK3 & PreK4)
Two classes this year — one PreK3 and one PreK4 — each led by its own early-childhood teacher with a full-time classroom aide, using LiteraSci hands-on learning with ABEKA pre-reading. The program is STARS accredited with three stars.
Elementary (K-4th)
A certified teacher in every grade, with a full-time classroom aide alongside the teacher in each K-2 class, supported by specialty teachers for Bible, PE, music, art, and library. ACSI accredited since 2015, with MAP testing three times a year.
Fifth - Eighth Grade
Teachers certified in their content areas teach BJU Press Bible, math, science, social studies, grammar, and literature, plus PE, health, art, and music/drama — with a small student-to-teacher ratio.
Every classroom teacher is certified, and our elementary and middle school teachers are certified in the content areas they teach. Leadership is handled by the Administrator, the Office & Enrollment team, and the School Board.
